		<description>I know a few people who build what you could call link farms. The are used to rank very niche terms on sites that are just thin affiliate. The results of link farming will take about 2-4 weeks to come though. You might as well just add the links in any old time.

People generally build farms automatically with software. They also tend to be on free host sites (squidoo, blogger) as these are harder for a search engine to get rid off whereas they can just remove a link farm on a single domain.</description>
