I've never had anyone turn me down. This is especially fun if there is also a special sale on the product. A few months ago I saw a woman with a couple of kids looking at a cereal promotion at Albertsons: if you bought 10 boxes you'd get an instant rebate that brought the price to $1 each, or $10. I gave her four $1-off coupons, bringing the price to 60 cents a box. Normally that cereal runs more than $4 apiece. I hope this idea catches on. Thanks to Kimberly and Steward for writing about it.
